Sometimes, when a restaurant gives us a “hybrid” dish, the results can be mixed. Chicken and Waffles was a slam dunk, of course – but Chocolate Drizzled Steak? Ramen Burgers?
So, I ordered North Italia’s new Cacio E Pepe Pizza with a degree of trepidation. Surely the delicate balance of pecorino cheese and black pepper calls for a traditional bed of tonnarelli pasta – or the Italians would’ve put it on pizza ages ago.
But it was love at first bite; the ratio works, and it’s the best meatless pizza I’ve ever had. Check out the rest of North Italia’s new menu here.
