Atlanta’s own Outkast will be inducted into the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, cementing the duo’s legacy as Southern hip-hop pioneers.
André 3000 and Big Boi, who formed the group in East Point in the early ’90s, rose to global fame and put Atlanta on the musical map with chart-topping albums like “Stankonia” and “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.” Their genre-defying sound, bold style and visionary storytelling changed the course of hip-hop forever. The honor marks a milestone not only for the group but for Atlanta’s cultural influence on global music.
The induction ceremony takes place Nov. 8 in Los Angeles.
