Having contributed significantly to Atlanta’s history for over 100 years, the Atlanta Woman’s Club has inspired its members to take an active role in the community by participating in humanitarian endeavors.
If the organization had not been successful in advocating for and sponsoring a number of crucial initiatives, including the founding and construction of the Atlanta airport, the city’s history could have been quite different.
Offering a range of volunteer opportunities in five general areas – arts and culture, civic engagement and outreach, education and libraries, environment, and health and wellness – the club continues to be actively involved in improving Atlanta.
