A look back at 60 years with ADAC Atlanta

by The 100 Companies

Atlanta Decorative Arts Center, the Southeast’s leading center for interior design and home furnishings, opened its doors 60 years ago. Atlanta architect John C. Portman first began ADAC as a display and distribution center for the manufacturers of fabrics, furniture, kitchen/bath fixtures and more.

ADAC has grown alongside the demand for luxury interior design. By 2006, the center was seen as a resource for finding new products and a place for networking and learning. In 2015, the Design Studios opened onsite giving select trade professionals the opportunity to collaborate on ideas with clients and use ADAC as their sample library.
