Step through the gate to discover Georgia’s past

Located right in the heart of Atlanta, The Millennium Gate Museum strives to preserve and interpret Georgia’s history, art, culture and philanthropic heritage.

Historically called “The Gate City,” the classically styled monumental arch houses a 12,000-square-foot museum that uses interactive technology and film to narrate Georgia’s history. Visitors can also learn about the state’s early history throughout three period rooms and four century-specific galleries.

Additionally, The Tocqueville Corridor explores the development of philanthropy in the United States and The Glenn Gallery pays tribute to the nearby Atlantic Station site history in a series of photographic exhibits.
