Atlanta’s favorite tiki bar

by
trader vic's

Founded in 1976, the Atlanta location of Trader Vic’s has been a favorite with locals and visitors. The tiki-themed restaurant and bar is located in the basement of the Hilton Atlanta.

In 1934, Victor Bergeron, Jr. opened a small restaurant in Oakland, California, named Hinky Dink’s that soon became Trader Vic’s. Spurred on by the tiki-trend of the ’50s and ’60s, the brand grew to 27 U.S. locations and has locations in 17 countries. Trader Vic’s has two US locations left: Atlanta, and Emeryville, California.

A popular attraction for guests is the Thursday night $5 Mai Tais.
