The CDC recently released new guidelines around Halloween festivities to help ensure that parents and kids could still celebrate in a safe and secure manner in light of the current pandemic conditions.
• Individually bag candy for trick or treaters to take and set up a station to avoid direct contact.
• Make a face mask part of any costume, but know that a costume mask is not a sufficient substitute for a cloth mask.
• Bring hand sanitizer along and use frequently. Be sure to also wash hands thoroughly after returning home.
• When possible, stay outdoors and six feet away from others.
