Atlanta becoming new hub for online creators

Having long been considered a film and music epicenter, Atlanta is now becoming known for another industry. In a Dec. 11 feature article, The New York Times named Atlanta “The New Influencer Capital of America.”

Thanks to a new wave of online creators, who’ve set up ‘collab’ houses in Atlanta to live and work, the city is getting national attention for an industry that has traditionally been both LA-focused and non-diverse.

These young, predominately Black influencers use their internet savvy to create content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and more for millions of followers, resulting in many of today’s viral trends.
