The lost art of RSVPing

by The 100 Companies

As a public relations executive whose business thrives on events and special invite-only occasions, I am here to tell you that RSVPing and attending an event is a lost art.

We often receive limited opportunities, tickets or times from clients for media, influencers and tastemakers to share in a complimentary experience. What’s baffling is when people RSVP and don’t show up (taking an opportunity away from someone else), don’t RSVP and show up, or make a reservation and arrive three hours late with extra people.

It’s the wild, wild west of event etiquette and why we can’t have nice things.
