Atlanta welcomes largest hotel in 4 decades

by The 100 Companies

Where Atlanta’s famous Georgia Dome once stood now sits the largest hotel development the city has seen in more than 40 years. Signia Hotel by Hilton officially opened in downtown Atlanta a few weeks ago near the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Centennial Olympic Park.

The 42-story hotel holds 976 rooms and ranks as Atlanta’s fifth-largest hotel. The Signia boasts eight food and beverage concepts, including a signature upscale Italian restaurant named Capolinea, a modern sports bar and a unique warm-weather poolside bar called Highball. The hotel also features 100,000 square feet of meeting space and is home to Georgia’s largest ballroom.
