We may soon see an even bigger influx of young adults moving down to the Peach State, as Atlanta ranked No. 15 in a recent study of the best U.S. cities for young professionals to live and work. Conducted by SmartAsset, the study identified and ranked the top cities where young professionals are currently thriving.
SmartAsset compared the country’s 150 largest cities across nine metrics, focusing on affordability, workforce demographics and entertainment options. Atlanta came in at 22.17% of residents between the ages of 25-34, 6.1% unemployment rate in January 2021, $23,309 estimated cost of living and $1,257 median monthly rent.
