Atlantans get crafty with the Indie Craft Experience

Christy Petterson and business partner Shannon Mulkey Green created Atlanta’s first Indie Craft Experience (ICE) hoping to offer a unique show for a city full of creatives. Now, 15 years later, Petterson says their purpose has evolved to spreading the importance of buying handcrafted and supporting next-generation artists.

Petterson has loved crafts since she was a child, but specifically remembers making friendship bracelets in the sixth grade. She has carried that creativity into her profession and loves that ICE allows other individuals to launch their businesses.
