Aficionados of “The Walking Dead” television series know its post-apocalyptic story begins near Atlanta. But in the original graphic novels, the story starts in Cynthiana, Kentucky, the hometown of the creators (writer Robert Kirkman and illustrator Tony Moore).
While we hope the Commonwealth remains zombie-free, there is a new Kentucky bourbon perfectly suited to both the good times and the end of times.
“The Walking Dead” bourbon will be sold under a Spirits of the Apocalypse brand. Luckily, it’s hitting shelves in limited quantities this fall. Pick up yours, grab a glass and toast your favorite zombie fighter.
