Georgia Tech’s incredible win against Florida State University last weekend got me thinking: football, as one of America’s favorite pastimes, literally brings hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life together every week from August to December.
I’ve had Georgia Tech season tickets since college, and despite all that time, I’m still going to games with the same people I did 15 years ago.
Football helps build relationships with friends and family. Even if I only see these people a few times per year, I can always count on catching up and reconnecting when football season rolls around.
