We bought a sofa from a family across town. How to get it delivered to our living room?
Joe Norton perceived this gap in the market for small deliveries last year and founded the app Tote, “Your Friend with a Truck.” We downloaded it, entered the pick-up and drop-off locations and set date and time for delivery.
We got a photo of our driver and an approximate time he would deliver the sofa to our house. It’s like Uber for large items. It’s easy, quick and affordable. Moves cost $1 a minute and $1 a mile, with a $35 minimum.
