It may just be me, but I can’t stand listening to music while sitting in traffic. Luckily, I’ve discovered a few ways to pass the time.
Overdrive is an app for “borrowing” audiobooks from your library. Simply reserve the book you want, download it and listen within 21 days.
Podcasts are another great option. NPR has a slew of great podcasts, like This American Life and Invisibilia. And if you haven’t listened to Serial, stop what you’re doing and download it.
I actually look forward to my commute when I’ve got a good book or new podcast. Shocking, I know.
