Skyland Trail is working to connect a new era of volunteers and supporters to its cause through craft beer at the Southern Shindig at SweetWater Brewery on Aug. 15. The event will feature a buffet from Verde Taqueria, music from the local band Moontower and, of course, SweetWater beer.
The nationally recognized Atlanta nonprofit has helped individuals suffering from bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia and other mental illnesses to thrive in the community through residential and day treatment programs for 25 years.
