This weekend, Wounded Warriors from around the country will join in Atlanta’s Soldier Ride, a cycling event for warriors of all ability levels and a chance for them to prevail over physical, mental and emotional obstacles.
The event starts today with a fitting for adaptive bike equipment. Friday, the warriors depart from Stone Mountain for a 10-mile ride around the park. On Saturday, an 18-mile ride takes place in White, GA – where you can go cheer them on.
This event not only raises awareness about the Wounded Warrior Project but also connects riders with peers who’ve shared similar combat experiences.
