After a nearly ten-year hiatus, Outkast will be returning to its beloved home state at the CounterPoint music festival outside of Atlanta. The dynamic “ATLiens” duo of Big Boi and André 3000 will perform the final night of CounterPoint Sunday, April 27. The festival will be held for the first time at Kingston Downs, home of the Atlanta Steeplechase. CounterPoint is just one stop on Outkast’s staggering 40-festival tour this summer.
Other notable acts include STS9, Pretty Lights and Foster the People. The festival also features some of the Southeast’s best young contemporary art and eateries. Tickets available at www.counterpointfestival.com.
