Arriving at an opportune time, “All In: The Fight For Democracy,” produced by Stacey Abrams, is now streaming on Amazon Prime. The documentary is directed at young voters and outlines the history of voter suppression in the United States and the current difficulties Americans, particularly communities of color, face when casting their ballots.
Abrams gained national recognition when running against Brian Kemp in Georgia’s gubernatorial race in 2018 and has remained an active voice for voter protection in Georgia. In the film, Abrams reflects on the barriers she and her family in Mississippi faced when casting ballots between 2016 and 2018.
