Cast your vote

Georgia has used the same voting machines since 2002, and although plans are in the works to replace them with a new updated system, paper ballots are still the backup option that could potentially become a reality.

While no system is perfect, having paper ballots implemented would make it hard for disabled people to cast their votes independently, and there may be concerns with the security and counting of paper ballots.

On the other hand, having paper ballots does lower the risk of voter hacking and potential malicious software programming, and would help eliminate the political ties of machine manufacturers.
