Warm weather + runny noses, spring allergy season returns to Atlanta

by The 100 Companies

Experiencing runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezing more than normal and waking up to cars (and everything else outdoors) covered in a greenish-yellow tint? You’re not alone. Allergy season has officially arrived in Atlanta and the changing seasons are wreaking havoc on sinuses across the city.

According to the Allergy & Asthma Center, spring allergies result from tree pollen coming primarily from oak and birch trees. Atlanta’s tree pollen counts reach peak levels from late March to late May. In the summer months, grass pollen is the main allergen followed by ragweed in the fall.
