Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the largest vaccination site in the state, has opened thousands of appointment slots for eligible residents to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Recently, FEMA and the U.S. Department of Defense brought in more resources to expand the vaccine operations in Georgia and have already received 100,000 doses.
The stadium is expecting to administer 6,000 vaccines per day and will be offering free guest parking. All appointments must be scheduled online.
As of March 25, all residents over 16 are now eligible to receive the vaccine in Georgia. The expanded eligibility requirements are a result of increased vaccine supply.
