On paper, the Lexus RC doesn’t match up to the BMW 4 series, Audi A5 or Mercedes C-Class. It’s heavier, slower, thirstier and doesn’t corner as well. It might, however, be the best of the four.
Unlike the Germans, Lexus prioritized luxury over sportiness here. With supple suspension, comfy seats and excellent insulation, the RC is a stress-free environment and would make a sublime commuter.
It’s no slouch either, completing 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, and corners just fine within legal speeds. MPG is a drag at <20, but overall, it’s a beautiful, comfy coupe worth considering.
