Ted Turner’s life work is now on permanent display at the University of Georgia’s Special Collections Libraries. The Ted Turner Exhibition Hall and Gallery features recognizable items from his legacy, including his legendary cowboy hat, Lifetime Achievement Emmy Award and World Series trophy.

Turner is known for inventing the 24-hour news broadcast through CNN, transforming the broadcast industry. The exhibit showcases the metal sign from the first TV station he purchased, along with an original CNN camera.

In addition to displaying items from his past, the exhibit features an interactive kiosk showing photos and videos commemorating Turner’s contribution to media.
