A recent study by Expertise.com has ranked Georgia among the top five safest states to live in. Landing at number three, behind Massachusetts and Connecticut, Georgia also has seven municipalities listed among the safest cities in America — Braselton, Sandy Springs, Suwanee, McDonough, Lilburn, Pooler and Dunwoody.
The report was developed to help people better navigate their options after the past year saw millions relocating due to COVID-19 and new work-from-home flexibility.
Evaluating data from the FBI’s 2019 National Incident-Based Reporting System and a detailed methodology to determine results, the study only considered cities with populations of over 10,000 people.
