In Atlanta, the arrival of autumn can be unpredictable. So much so that some refer to the first drop in temperatures as “fake fall.” Regardless of whether it’s here to stay, I’m enjoying the cooler days and looking forward to a weekend road trip to North Georgia soon to catch the beautiful, bold colors that take over this time of year.
Planning the right time to catch the fall foliage at its best can be tricky. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the prime dates for peak colors in Georgia will fall between Oct. 19 – Nov. 4.
Enjoy them while you can!
