On the hunt for an excursion that’s fun and offers a walk down memory lane? Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau and DeAnna Brown Thomas recently brought to life a dedicated walking tour in honor of the one and only Godfather of Soul, James Brown.
The tour takes fans on the journey of discovering the places once cherished by the Augusta native, including Soul Bar, The Imperial Theatre, his childhood home and more.
Best part of the tour? It can be done at a leisurely pace since all that’s needed is a cell phone and a brochure, including maps provided by ACVB.
