Garden & Gun’s annual Good Dog Photo Contest winner has been announced, and you may have seen him around the neighborhood – this year’s winner is an Atlanta native. Over one million votes were cast and Komet, a 10-year-old English springer spaniel, rose to the top of over 17,000 entries.
His owner, Phillip Walker, says Komet loves riding shotgun and tagging along on fishing trips. He enjoys eating treats almost as much as he loves the great outdoors, which is what he was doing when caught licking his chops during his photo op.
Komet is clearly the best “good boy.”
