I realized recently that I’ve been grieving for a variety of reasons. Like most, I am uncomfortable with grief and loss.
While it is a natural response to life changes including things like the death of a loved one, a job change, a relationship ending, chronic illness or something important to you, it’s the rollercoaster of emotions that always throws me for a loop.
I know there are stages and everyone grieves differently. But, I’m learning that if you don’t run and instead take a moment to understand your feelings, take care of yourself and seek support, you can heal.
