To many aficionados, the BMW M3 is the best sports sedan of all time. However, the legendary Bimmer features three chinks in its carbon fiber armor: practicality, dependability and price.
Kia’s new Stinger isn’t quite as razor-sharp around a track, but it admirably makes up for all three of the M3’s shortcomings with triple the cargo space, Korean reliability and a starting price $28,000 less than its German rival.
The cons? With a twin-turbo, 365hp V6 the Stinger is no fuel-sipper. Plus, the blasé interior lacks luxury refinement. Still, the Stinger is an unbeatable performance bargain.
