Nissan Creates Fleet of Star Wars Cars

Have you ever sat in gridlock on 285, wishing your car would sprout Tie Fighter wings and launch you to a galaxy far, far away?

Nissan edged us slightly closer to that reality when it unveiled its Star Wars-themed cars at the L.A. Auto Show. As part of a peculiar though not unwelcome partnership between the Japanese carmaker and Lucasfilm, the cars celebrate the Dec. 15 release of Episode VIII.

Though not for sale, the cars are a fun diversion. We’re fans of the Captain Phasma-themed Maxima and Kylo Ren’s big-winged TIE Silencer (also a Maxima).
