Every year, the best high school basketball players from the United States and Canada gather at the McDonald’s All-American Games to compete in an East vs. West showdown. Players compete in a skills contest, an exhibition game, a three-point contest and a slam dunk contest. The nationally televised spectacle will likely be attended by over 15,000 people.
Atlanta will host the games on March 28, 2018, at Philips Arena. The city last hosted the event in 1992.
Since the first selection in 1977, Georgia has produced 41 McDonald’s All American Boys and 18 McDonald’s All-American Girls.
