“The Most Magical Place on Earth” is one of the best examples of placemaking on Earth: Magic Kingdom.
Through the Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development, Inc. arm, which features more than 140 job titles, including illustrator, architect, engineer and graphic designer, “Imagineers” use each space’s features, from circulation patterns to exterior décor, to tell a story. From intimate nooks to grand ballrooms, guests have a world-class experience inside each corner of the park.
If you get the chance, I recommend braving the crowds to experience the high-level, multi-billion-dollar sense of place that exists inside Orlando.
