The 2017 Nissan Titan XD is a continuation of the Japanese automaker’s brave attempt to poach buyers from the Ford F-Series, the best-selling vehicle in America for 28 years. What makes the XD unique enough to consider?
Despite its massive appearance, the Titan XD is a “tweener” truck sized between a half-ton model and a heavy-duty workhorse. That means it can tow more than a base F-150, but doesn’t suffer the harsh ride or wide hips of some construction site goliaths.
Prices for a 4×4, double-cab “tweener” Titan start at just under $40,000.
