Don’t let the presidential race override your decision to vote this November, as two infrastructure referenda are on our ballot.
The TSPLOST referendum could generate $300 million to fund multi-use trails, increased capacity on roadways and an extended Atlanta BeltLine through a 0.4% sales tax. MARTA’s half-penny sales tax could generate $2.5 billion for transit, allowing MARTA to make major transit investments, including high-capacity rail improvements, bus network upgrades, and streetcar expansion to the BeltLine and new MARTA stations.
These referenda could improve every Atlanta resident’s quality of life – whether you live ITP or OTP.
