Our families and friends from numerous cultures and continents gathered this past weekend to celebrate the marriage of Catherine Butsch (former editor of The Atlanta 100) and Jorge Villarreal.
The exquisite wedding unfolded in Houston, an international city where no ethnic group is a majority. Many members of the bridal party immigrated to the US or are first-generation Americans.
Catherine’s parents, Tom Butsch and Jan Butsch Schroder (our editorial director), sent their beautiful daughter to Duke, from which she graduated with connections to a diverse world of friends. And now, she’s part of an international marriage with God’s blessings.
