Push Yourself with Pilates

If you’ve heard of Pilates, but have no idea what it is, you’re not alone. I didn’t know until I looked it up. Simply put, it’s a low-impact workout that aims to improve flexibility, strength and endurance.

Although it can be done on a mat, my favorite way to do Pilates is on a reformer, a scary looking machine that gives you a killer toning workout.

The Daily is a Westside favorite. Stellar Bodies is rooted in Pilates, but incorporates other methods as well. Although I haven’t visited Inspire Health or Adrenaline Pilates, I’ve heard great things about both.
