On March 31, the world watched with anticipation as Elon Musk revealed Tesla’s sledgehammer for shaking the gas-powered industry: the Model 3.
Essentially a compact Model S, the Model 3 rolls off the lot for just $35,000 – half the cost of its big brother. The S’ massive 17” touchscreen has been “downsized” to 15,” and base models boast 215-mile range. Seemingly no sacrifices have been made to performance; this baby Tesla rockets to 60 in under 6 seconds.
Which begs a question: how in the world is it so cheap? Is Elon Musk hiding billions in Panama?
