While Hillary Clinton is still the odds-on favorite to win the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, there is one polling platform where Bernie Sanders reigns supreme: Kickstarter.
After raising $26,774 on Kickstarter for a Hillary Clinton “pop art” action figure in 2015, Brooklyn-based FCTRY is “feeling the Bern” with almost $200,000 in committed pledges for their new $20 Bernie Sanders “Join-the-Action” figure.
Although Bernie’s Kickstarter victory over Hillary could be chalked up to a timelier primary season launch, FCTRY’s Reid Covington discussed other factors that may have benefited Bernie on Episode 7 of my podcast.
