An Atlanta staple, Restaurant Eugene, is closing its Buckhead doors next month after 15 years. The fine dining trailblazer will be completely renovated before reopening in October as the new concept, Eugene and Elizabeth’s.
Named for owner and chef Linton Hopkins’ grandparents, the new eatery will shift toward a more approachable menu including a la carte items.
Accepting reservations until Aug. 18, Restaurant Eugene features Cast-Iron Fried Chicken Sunday Supper weekly, including cast-iron-fried chicken, corn & tomato salad and mashed potatoes with gravy – a perfect way to honor the end of an era, while celebrating what’s to come.
