It wasn’t an April Fools’ Day joke when Torched Hop Brewing Co. opened last Friday. The brainchild of Auburn graduates (and brothers) Chris and Stephen Bivins occupies the former Old Spaghetti Factory space in Midtown.
Flavorful beers include a jalapeño and cocoa nips milk stout and a cinnamon and vanilla imperial amber ale. Current hours are 4 PM to midnight, with lunch service beginning in a few weeks.
The 11,000-square-foot space has 20 taps and a game room with an indoor bocce court. The brewers will also feature over 100 bottles from local and regional breweries.
