Gerry Klaskala, founder of Canoe and Aria, and Tavistock Group opened Atlas this week in The St. Regis Atlanta.
Serving dinner only, the restaurant changes its menu daily, sourcing fresh ingredients from local farms to create the European-inspired cuisine. Starters on the opening menu include Island Creek Oysters and Braised Leg of Alabama Rabbit. Entrees include Pecan-Grilled Cervena Venison Tenderloin and 35-Day, Dry-Aged New York Strip.
Klaskala is joined by Christopher Grossman as chef de cuisine, who recently worked under Thomas Keller at The French Laundry in Napa Valley. The Bill-Johnson designed décor includes art from Picasso and van Gogh.
