Lingering over our delicious cocktails from the Bourbon Bar, we pondered the 11 offerings from the Hambar at Southern Art, acclaimed chef Art Smith’s restaurant. We were in hog heaven.
We selected Benton’s, which came with a two-ounce portion along with homemade crackers and mustard, a perfect start to the meal. We followed that with the restaurant’s two signature dishes, buttermilk fried chicken and and bourbon glazed pork shank.
Yes, it’s in a hotel, the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, but you’ll find some of the city’s best Southern food. It’s like your grandma would make, if she’d gone to culinary school.
