Put down that beach book and pick up something more intriguing. The Atlanta History Center is hosting a Summer Author Series with lectures from local and national authors that include John Ferling, Carmen Agra Deedy, Kelly Corrigan and India Hicks.
The first lecture is Sunday, June 3, featuring New York Times contributor Pam Druckerman, author of “There Are No Grown-Ups: A Midlife Coming of Age Story.”
Hannah Pittard, the author of “Visible Empire,” a novel about the Orly plane crash in 1962 in Paris that killed 106 Atlantans, will speak June 5. Both lectures are at Margaret Mitchell House.
