Acclaimed actor and New York Times bestselling author Rob Lowe has been announced as the 2024 commencement speaker for The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Known for his roles in “The West Wing” and “Parks and Recreation,” Lowe brings a wealth of experience from his long illustrious career in film and television.
The SCAD Savannah and SCADnow ceremonies will take place on June 1, and the Presidential Conferment of Degrees for SCAD Atlanta graduates will take place on June 2. Lowe will address the largest class in SCAD history, representing over 40 top-ranked majors, including animation, fashion and film.
