From traditional favorites to contemporary fare, theaters have plenty of shows for the holidays.
The Theatrical Outfit celebrates its 40th anniversary with performances of the musical Big Fish, an adaptation of the Tim Burton film, December 1-18. Aurora Theatre presents its original production of Christmas Canteen, November 17-December 23, and The 12 Dates of Christmas, November 25-December 23. Kids will love Madeline’s Christmas, playing at the Horizon Theatre December 3-31.
Two returning favorites are The Christmas Carol at the Alliance Theatre, November 25-December 24, and The Santaland Diaries at Horizon Theatre, November 18-December 31.
