Just in time for the election, Landmark Midtown Art Cinema is getting political.
On October 11, Atlanta’s destination for indie films will screen six political dramas for its Cinema Classics series. Highlights include Charlie Chaplin’s “The Great Dictator,” which features one of the greatest speaches in cinematic history; “All the President’s Men,” a film starring Robert Redford about the journalists who broke the Watergate scandal; and “Network,” which gives a haunting view into mainstream media and violence in America.
Screenings begin 7pm on Tuesdays and include an intro and post-film Q&A with film scholars. See the full lineup.
