Despite the fact we all know how it ends, the Atlanta Ballet’s production of Roméo et Juliette promises to take us on the romantic, emotional journey of the star-crossed young lovers of Verona through the medium of dance.
The production, which comes to Atlanta from Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, runs Feb. 7-15 at the Cobb Energy Centre and is choreographed by Jean-Christophe Maillot. Ari Pelto is the guest conductor of the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra as it performs the beautiful music of Sergei Prokofiev.
Check the ballet’s website for Girls’ Night Out and Romantic Dinner packages. Ticket prices start at $20.
