The holiday season brings rest, good cheer and time with loved ones. Beyond the festivities, holidays also provide the opportunity to give back to our communities. These are just a few of the many local organizations that have holiday volunteer opportunities available:
• Hosea Helps – Join volunteers in serving a hot meal and distributing clothing to those in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Lift Up Atlanta – Volunteer projects dedicated to supporting families in need with food, clothing and other basic needs.
• Operation Christmas Child – Make a gift box for a child overseas filled with toys, school supplies and personal care items.
